In East Tennessee we are fortunate to have numerous shelters and dog rescues working together toward finding loving homes for deserving pets.

 

Unfortunately, many dogs are traumatized by the shelter experience and exhibit behaviors that could potentially lessen their chances for successful adoption. Thankfully, experienced reliable rescues organization are partnering with our shelters to move dogs from the shelter environment to fosters where dogs can decompress and learn what it’s like to live in a safe home environment, which leads to positive outcomes for all involved.

Our goal is for dogs to be successfully adopted and remain in their adoptive homes.

Shelters have limited resources and rely small paid teams and on volunteer staff to fulfill their mission. It is my passion to help our shelters be successful at finding every dog the home they deserve.

As a trained animal behaviorist and certified trainer, we offer the following services:

 

• Teaching and Training for Shelter Staff and Volunteers

• Consultation for Process Improvements and Building Design (or Redesign)

• Consultation to shelters or rescues to support individual high-risk animal that are exhibiting Aggression, Fear, and Anxiety
