Hey There

Hello, my name is Gus Cirulli. I am a behavior analyst and a certified professional animal trainer with more than two decades experience working with exotic and domestic animals.

I received my certification from the International Association of Animal Behavior Consults (IAABC-ADT) in 2023 and graduated with an Associates degree in Marine mammal training and behavior from Dolphin Research Center (DRC) in 2000.

In my career I have had the pleasure to work with dolphins, kangaroos, and tigers, and many others, but my favorite animal to work with is the dog.

My mother has been a big inspiration to me.  I grew up in a household that rescued dogs, and that experience has shaped me, my love for dogs and my passion for training and rescue today.

All About Me

I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Italian parents. Because of this unique cultural background, I speak three languages: Italian, Spanish, and English.  I grew up in a home that loved and rescued dogs which created the passion I have for dogs today.  In 1994, I moved to the United States and completed my last year of high school in Newark, New Jersey.

Over the two decades, I have had the privilege to work with all types of animals around the world in places like Italy, Argentina, Portugal, Turkey and the United Kingdom, but I now call the United States home.  I spent several years in Miami and Marathon Key, Florida, where I operated a doggie day care and training business. I have worked with several

organizations around the world including Dogstrust(UK), Battersea dogs and

cats, Mars Company, Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare, Doglab(USA)and many

more.

During my career, I have learned and developed some of the best techniques

to overcome numerous behavioral issues. I am a fervent believer in second

chances and that all dogs deserve the tools and training to live happy full lives.

I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 2024 and am excited and proud to call

East Tennessee home. I spend my weekends exploring the area, finding

new coffee spots and learning what it means to be a Tennessee Volunteer.
